The MidnightMinerals FULL-WAVE beams of focused, clean 255nm, 310nm or 365nm emission contains very little visible light at all. You will find it to be a solid, convenient, extraordinary performer. But it is important to note; “ultraviolet” means that humans cannot see the vast majority of the output from this flashlight. NOTE: Your pupils will not detect the UV output and will not constrict. Therefore, prolonged direct exposure can cause eye damage. UV eye protection is essential when using this light. When collecting minerals on a beach or other location where rock may be wet or smooth, UV light bounces back into eyes. So you and anybody searching with you should wear eye protection.
